At the present day, Steam jet ejector is the preferred vacuum producing devices
for many applications in the petrochemical, food processing, refining, chemical-
processing and power generation industries.


The principle of a steam jet ejector is that the pressure energy in the motive steam is
converted into velocity energy in the nozzle, and this high velocity jet of steam entrains
the vapor or gas being pumped.





The prime factor in determining the no.of stage is suction pressure.
